I Want To See Beautiful, Free And Wild Women

I want to see beautiful, free and wild women

“Woman: neither submissive nor affectionate, I want you to be beautiful, free and wild ,” someone once said. It’s a phrase that happily created history. Unfortunately, we still need to remind ourselves of this phrase. And the truth is, we still have a long way to go before this message about wild women becomes the general position.

It’s not about men or women. But rather about respect for the world and other people. We should put aside the stereotypes that perpetuate the idea that women should exploit their bodies, ignore their own needs, and sacrifice themselves to the point of exhaustion.

We must stop nurturing the idea that women should be forgiving, without their own expectations or needs. Women today need to improve their condition as women. They must free themselves from the box that they themselves sometimes put themselves in. They must regain their right to live as they please.

Wild woman of different ages holds together

The heroic journey of being a woman

As Alicia Giménez Bartlett put it: “Women today do not need anyone to put them in second place.” But the truth is that being a woman in a world run by men is not always easy. Too strong beliefs have been implicated in us that can be self-weakening.

Women have the same personal power, the same ability to feel, shape their future, create and change social structures that men have.

Women and men are equally unique and self-sufficient. Patriarchy, however, asserts itself in innumerable movements, words, images, values, ideas, and beliefs that serve as the basis for both physical and emotional oppression.

But today, millions of men and women are fighting for equality. Because despite our gender differences, we all deserve the same respect and opportunities.

Unfortunately, women carry a heavy burden and are often criticized for their behavior.

Wild women have braided their hair together

“The best time to be a woman starts when you stop waiting for a man or someone else to bring happiness. It is when one loves and respects oneself, and when one does not lose his dignity for anything in the world. Even when this means being alone. ”
-Karla Galleta-

Being exposed to the beliefs of a society that is not even aware of its own inequality, gender violence and objectification of women makes us vulnerable to extreme anxiety, depression, drug abuse and other maladaptive behaviors.

The best defense is to build self-esteem, to take on important roles in the world, and to stop believing that we must sacrifice our identities for our families.

Let us be free and wild women

Enough of feeling guilty about not “doing it all”. Enough not to rely on our own worth and abilities. Mok by not giving us time to relax. Enough of ignoring our emotions. Enough of feeling obligated to please. Enough fixing ourselves just to fit in a box.

Let’s start with ourselves. Let us cease to be slaves to passivity, resignation, obedience, service of others, maintenance of our home, duties and parenting, the image of a good wife, the objectification of our bodies, oppression, patience…

Let us seek personal freedom and identity. Let us set aside our feminine identity, and let us stop normalizing these oppressive actions, attitudes, expectations, and judgments just because we were born as women. Let us be free and wild women. Let us be beautiful in heart, like any other man, like any other person.
